Plastic Recycling
Plastic Recycling
The main advantage of recycling, of plastic packaging, is the reduction of urban waste and the saving of natural resources. Recycling will allow these materials not to end up in landfills, thus freeing up space for materials and products that are not actually recyclable.
This way, the more plastic packaging we recycle, the more we guarantee that they are integrated into the manufacture of new materials.
There are several types of plastics that can be recycled.
For this to happen, it is necessary to have a correct division of materials, the most common being:
PVC Pipes
Plastic Bottles
Bottle Lids
Packages
Plastic Bags
Children's Toys
Cleaning Product Packages
However, not all plastics are recyclable.
There are 2 types of plastic, thermosets and thermoplastics.
The first are those that do not melt and once molded and hardened, cannot be used for recycling.
As is the case with parts used in mechanics and the automotive industry.
The second are the ones that always soften when heated, and can be easily molded. This process can be repeated numerous times, making this material recyclable. However, although these materials may be recyclable, they cannot be used in food packaging, as they may come from toxic products or paints.
